Yep, it's that time. Christmas in July is here and time to get started on those handmade cards and Christmas gifts/projects.
Here is one project I finished. They are "non-traditional" Christmas cards with pinks, reds and greens.
I'm submitting this card into two challenges. The first is over at Squigglefly for their Squigglefly Challenge #26, SFC2614 Over the Edge. Here is the criteria, "This week's challenge is called "Over the Edge." Something on your card must
extend over the edge of your card." My Santa's head extends past the edge of the card. That very cute image is "Unconventional Christmas Tree" by Mark Hicks for Squigglefly.
And the second challenge is at Your ScrapbookPlace. This challenge is Christmas in July with a twist, "Your challenge is to make a Christmas card in non-traditional colors. Yip, no red, white and/or green as dominant colors." Hopefully I have enough pinks in there to qualify! We shall see!
I will be returning to the posting of the calendars tomorrow.
Have a creative day!
Mel

What an adorable card Mel! To tell the truth I have not seen this image at Squigglefly - you have really rocked the non traditional Christmas colors!!! Best of luck in both challenges!
