SFC108 Kraftastic!

The lastest challenge at Squigglefly is to use kraft paper in some way plus use one of their images. I used Ginger Cutie and kraft paper as my base on my card. She looks good enough to take a bite out of her!

Here's what I used: Ginger Cutie Squigglefly image printed on white cardstock, kraft cardstock (from stash), The Paper Studio Making Spirits Bright patterned paper, Holly Stickles, red rhinestones from CTMH, double sided adhesive, foam dots, D1283 Say it in Style CTMH stamp set, Copics- R22 G05 G17 R27 R29 E11 E13.

Hambo Hoedown 25 - Wanna come over for a bite?

I've got mono this week from the Hoedown! It might be "catchy" too! Hambo Hoedown this week is to use Mosquito image and a monochromatic color scheme. Did I mention you have to use a color you don't normally use? I don't use blue alot. I'm more of a red, pink, green kinda gal.

Who wants to take up Mr. Mosquito on his offer for a bite?

Here's what I used: Mosquito image from Hambo printed on white cardstock, DCWV patterned paper, Blue cardstock from Doodlebug, brads from my stash, ribbon from my stash, CTMH Liquid Glass (on the eyes), Copics - Y13 B29 B28 C5 B00 B14 B24 B26 B02 B06.

A little birdie

A little birdie told me you were under the weather. This is the sentiment on my card. It fit me perfectly. I've been in the hospital for eight days and, even though I feel better, I am still very tired and sluggish. My poor body's been through a lot. This card isn't for a challenge. I just wanted to start using some of the stash I have in my scraproom. I used to belong to those monthly clubs that send you coordinating paper and embellishments. What's easier than that. Everything already matches and I figured I could knock out some cards.

I used an unknown (to me) image from my stash, Prima Haromony collection paper in Breeze, a Heidi Swapp mirror in little birds, ribbon from my stash and Prismacolors.

Hot and Bothered! Sweet!

Here is my card for Dustin Pike's (www.dustinpike.blogspot.com) challenge - Hot and Bothered. Sounds kinda racy, huh? Nope. I just had to create something summer themed. You must use a Doodle Dragon Design image (www.doodledragonstudios.com). I chose one of the images for the "members" that signed up for special images every month/year. What's better in the summertime than cool ice cream?!?!?

Here's what I used:

Doodle Dragon Design image (bear with ice cream) printed on CTMH White Daisy cardstock from my HP printer, Prismacolors (PC924, 930, 1009, 909, 945, 943, 946, 1051, 1082, 997, 922, 1002, 939, 1034) with Sansodor, red/green/yellow glitter cardstock from DCWV, Queen and Co Ice Rox in Classy Reds/Sunflower Yellow/Grass Green, Stickles by Ranger in Xmas Red/Yellow/Green/Lavender/Fruit Punch, CTMH Liquid Glass, patterned paper from my stash, chipboard letter from Scrapworks Shimmer Shapes Carnival Alphabet in Red, double sided tape and foam adhesive.

My first 6x6 card. I let some "white space" on the left side because I wanted the patterned paper to show well. I love the colors and screams summer.

I colored about four more images of the bear with ice cream with Copics. I didn't care for them. I don't think I have enough colors yet to be able to blend like I want. But the Prismacolors, on the other hand, blend awesomely! Plus, a while back, I bought the set that has all the colors with a 40% off coupon! I can blend like a fool! Still learning, tho. Eventually I would like to be as good as Lelia and Holley in coloring. You can check out their blogs from the side of my page.

Well, it's getting late and I need to get this posted for the challenge.

Working on a few more challenges tomorrow. Then I'm going to make some cards for the troops.

Nitey nite.
