Going green is this month's theme at ScrapbookPlace Challenges is Going Green! April's Challenge is a good one for you and Mother Earth. In celebration of
Earth Day, April 22, we are challenging you to "go green" with your project. Make
a card, layout or altered art, but remember to reuse, recycle or upcycle in the
crafting of your creation. When you link your entry, make sure to mention how
you saved a tree. Thanks Pat for your great challenges.
My card uses nothing but scraps. I saved a tree by not using any new supplies but thes bits and pieces already in my stash. I used some shimmer for the rays of sun and to highlight the circles to resemble shimmery clouds. Toads having so much fun flying his kite, he doesn't even see lunch flying around his mushroom!
By the way, the cutie on the mushroom flying his kite is from Doodle Dragon Studios. Love, love Dustin Pike's work!
