Going green is "Toad-ally" perfect!

Going green is this month's theme at ScrapbookPlace Challenges is Going Green!  April's Challenge is a good one for you and Mother Earth. In celebration of Earth Day, April 22, we are challenging you to "go green" with your project. Make a card, layout or altered art, but remember to reuse, recycle or upcycle in the crafting of your creation. When you link your entry, make sure to mention how you saved a tree.  Thanks Pat for your great challenges.

My card uses nothing but scraps.  I saved a tree by not using any new supplies but thes bits and pieces already in my stash.  I used some shimmer for the rays of sun and to highlight the circles to resemble shimmery clouds.  Toads having so much fun flying his kite, he doesn't even see lunch flying around his mushroom!

By the way, the cutie on the mushroom flying his kite is from Doodle Dragon Studios.  Love, love Dustin Pike's work!

Here's what I used:
Copics:  YG05 YG07 YG17 B29 Y17 YR16 YG01 R27 R59 E13 E15 Y15 YR18 G14 R14 R02 Y02 B24 G17 G19 E19 YG09
Liquid Glass - CTMH
Red jute, paper and chipboard bees - unknown
Orange Peel Stickles - Ranger
Yellow Studio g and clear a la mode glitter glues - Hampton Art

Stop by ScrapbookPlace Challenges on May 12 for our Mother's/Father's Day blog hop and get some great ideas!

Thanks for stopping by and have a "toad-ally" perfect day too!
