Spring Fever

Spring fever is in the air! The grass is growing and had to be cut for the first time since winter started. Not to mention the temps here. It was 84 here today! I hope that doesn't mean the summer is going to be a scorcher.

Over at Squigglefly the challenge for this week is "Spring is in the Air" with a extra task of having ribbon or fiber somewhere on your project. I love this image called "Dancing Pig" by Suzanne Urban at Squigglefly. This little cutie just looks so happy, dancing with some flower floating around her. Perfect for spring!

Leave me some love and I'll pick a random commenter to get some blog candy!

Here's what I used:
White Daisy cardstock and Liquid Glass - CTMH
Mustard Seed Tim Holtz Distress Ink and Crystal Ice Ice Stickles - Ranger
Mira Citrus Botanical Brenda Walton paper and "spring fever" die cut - K & Co
Harmony paper from Harmony collection and paper flowers - Prima Marketing
Blue Bling cardstock - Bazzill
Ribbon and skittles - unknown
Flowers - Oriental Trading
Doily Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Foam pop dots and double sided adhesive - unknown
Copics - R00 R11 R20 R02 B00 Y35 B21 B23 R22 R24 YG11 YG13

Yay!! So far I am keeping on track with trying to post a new project everyday for a week. This was day 2!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Melissa your card is so cute and just makes me smile. I love all the flowers around her and on her dress and on the side of the card. Very spring like indeed! I'm also hoping that we don't have a really hot summer - I wasn't ready for these 80+ days already! Congratulations on posting every day for two days - good luck doing it the rest of the week! Thanks for playing in Squigglefly's challenge!

Hi Mel,
I love pigs and this is so cute. Good Luck with it. Linda is getting the snow we just had three days ago, not much landed on the ground here but it looks like it did there. Oh Would love some of your hot temps.

love the pig and the bright spring colors! You are lucky to have warm weather. Ours can't seem to make up its mind. Sunshine one week, snow the next day and then sunshine again. lol
