Happy Birthday, Gorgeous!

Here's a new challenge blog I'm going to try and start submitting to - This challenge is SNSDC36 - Monochromatic colors. And yes, I had to pick brown as it is one of my favorite colors. Brown? Yep, because there are so many different browns and I love the way brown looks on me.

The image is from Sweet N Sassy and thought it would make a great birthday card. It's for no one in particular, I just needed to make some birthday cards.

Here's what I used:
Image (Sweet N Sassy)
Far East paper (DCWV)
Brown Cardstock (Bazzill)
Lace Doily border punch (Martha Stewart)
Pop dots and double sided adhesive (stash)
Chocolate Designer Rounds ribbon (CTMH)
Antique Linen Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Ranger)
Reverse Wonky Rectangles Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
Brown Glitz (CTMH)
Say it With Pearls (Prima)
Copics - E00 E41 E43 E44 E47 E49

Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope you are keeping warm!

Love it! I am a huge fan of "tone on tone" (i,e. using all sorts of the same color on a card) as well as my fav color being BROWN). This card is YUM!! Drop by my blog in Feb, there's gonna be fun giveaways almost everyday!! Hugs!

Cheers, Holley

Mel, I love the classy, rich look of this card-very inspiring to others! It really makes me consider using the tone-on-tone look with my own cards-VERY NICE! Thanks for sharing!
